  My family is currently looking for a new furbaby to join our family so we decided to look into adoption as there are so many animals out there that need good homes. I brought my 5 year old daughter with me, and was amazed at how rude the staff was. There was a rabbit in it's own little cage and when my daughter went over to pet it a staff member (who clearly should not be working with the public.) yelled from across the room "Get your hands out of there." My response was " If you can't even pet the rabbit I certainly don't want to take it home." The lady then began to go on a rant about how the animals can catch diseases so people shouldn't be sticking their hands in there. The same thing happened when my daughter attempted to touch one of the dogs. We left immediately and it's a shame because there are animals there that need and the staff is running potential owners off. The point of going and looking at these animals is to meet with them and see if they mesh well with your family if you can't even go near them what's the point?!
